01 / THE WORK
A natural delivery. A considered message.
A creator can make a product feel easier to understand and imagine using. But an engaging person and a good-looking video are only part of the brief. The ad still needs to explain something useful.
We start with a customer question, a product benefit or an objection worth answering. Then we choose how a real person can demonstrate or explain it naturally. That might be a routine, a tutorial, a reaction to using the product or a founder sharing the thinking behind it.
Here, UGC means creator-style content developed for advertising. A commissioned creator is not automatically a customer giving an independent review. We keep that distinction clear and use genuine experiences where an ad presents a testimonial.
02 / THE WORK
From the idea to a useful set of ads.
Start with the creative direction
We review the product, existing assets, customer questions and current ad feedback. The concept defines what the video needs to communicate before decisions about creators or editing.
Scope the right people and production
We can work with your existing creators and suitable footage, or scope creator sourcing and new production. We agree what needs to be filmed, who is responsible for it and where it fits into the wider creative plan.
Make the brief clear without losing personality
Scripts, talking points and shot guidance establish the message and evidence required. The creator still needs room to deliver it in a way that feels natural to them.
Edit for the intended placement
We shape the footage into the agreed ad formats, with clear openings, product demonstrations, captions and calls to action. Variations can explore a different opening, sequence or emphasis while retaining the core concept.
Use the feedback
We review performance with your media buyer and feed useful observations into the next brief. The aim is a repeatable learning process, not a one-time folder of disconnected videos.
03 / THE WORK
What a practical creator brief looks like.
Imagine a DTC hairbrush brand. This is an illustrative brief structure, not a claim about a specific product:
Customer question: “What does using this brush actually look like?”
Concept: A close-up, step-by-step demonstration using the brand’s approved instructions.
Required footage: The product in hand, the relevant technique, a useful detail shot and the finished routine.
Creator contribution: A natural explanation of what they are doing. Any personal experience must be true.
Variation: Open with the customer question in one edit and the demonstration in another.
Next learning: Review whether the ad attracts relevant visitors and supports the agreed acquisition objective, alongside the landing-page experience.
The concept stays recognisable across both edits. A separate idea could answer how to clean the brush or explain a genuine product-design choice. Our creative strategy approach shows how we choose between new concepts and variations.
04 / THE WORK
Real creators, filming and AI in the same creative mix.
We work with real people and film in studios, homes and on location. Creator footage can sit alongside founder videos, product close-ups, static ads and motion.
AI helps explore visual ideas, diversify suitable executions and speed production. It does not supply a real customer’s experience or establish that a product works. We choose the production method around the message and keep your brand identity consistent.
The balance depends on what your plan needs. Sometimes the best next asset is a new demonstration. Sometimes it is a clearer edit of footage you already own.
05 / THE WORK
Know what is included before production starts.
Creator and production requirements are scoped to your engagement. We agree the concepts, filming responsibilities, formats, revisions, delivery and the permissions needed for the intended use.
Paid advertising usage, the duration of that usage, raw footage and any use of a creator’s account need to be discussed explicitly. They should not be assumed from the number of edited videos.
This service focuses on ad creative. If your main objective is access to an influencer’s audience, say so during the call so we can assess whether the requirement fits EVOKE’s scope.
06 / THE WORK
Creator work connected to a wider growth programme.
Our DTC beauty case includes direct-response UGC scripts, product demonstrations and structured testing across creators, messaging and formats. Weekly paid-media insights and customer feedback informed the next briefs.
The brand’s Shopify total sales grew 236% in 2025 versus 2024 within a broader acquisition, conversion and retention programme. The result is not presented as an isolated UGC effect.

A few practical questions.
Can EVOKE work with our media buyer?
Yes. Your existing media buyer can keep running the campaigns while we supply the agreed creative strategy and production. Full paid ads management, including creative and media buying, can also be scoped together.
Do we have to commission new creators every time?
No. We can use suitable existing assets, develop fresh edits or scope new creator production when the concept needs it. We first check what material and usage permissions are available.
